Vista - Can't Delete an Email from my outbox and can't send emails

Please help,
Can't send emails from windows mail and can' delete the problem email.

ETEJA I hope this will help a lot of the emailers out there.
I found a site by typing in google search, "windowsmail/help", go to the
site marked "vista help utility" it has 2 solutions, I picked the first one,
(program for a patch) It's worked, good everybody.

That was a older solution. Microsoft has since come out with a fix for this.

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version
of Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit version first.
Certain common antivirus programs, such as most of those from
Norton or McAfee, tend to cause stuck messages and other problems
in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately, so if you have such a
program, remember where to find the hotfix, and hope it will install
again if you need it again. The Vista SP1 update also includes this
hotfix, but takes longer to install. A recent version of the Trend
antivirus program also causes assorted problems in Windows Mail.

I just found out after much time how to delete unsent emails from Outbox:
In Windows Mail click "View", then "Layout" then "Local Folder" then
"Outbox". Start at the top of your Outbox unsent emails and delete them one
by one. They are gone.
I deduced this after I spent hours on line with some overseas tech help and
the message that I had unsent emails still popped up.

It worked for me.

This worked for me and will probably solve your problem. So simple.

In Windows Mail click View, then Layout, then Local Folders , then Outbox
and then from your list of emails in the Outbox list delete the unsent emails
one by one -Now they are gone!!!

I couldn't send email for a week. Now I can.
