| | can't send emails use Windows Liveone care antiviral I was looking at the previous posts and most of the others that can't send emails usually either have their emails scanned by Norton or have an email stuck. I have the Windows Live OneCare anti viral software and according to their help doesn't scan the email messages. I am getting the following error message Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject '', Account: 'pop.earthlink.net', Server: 'smtpauth.earthlink.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F I have restarted the computer and looked at all of the settings and it all seems to be correct??? I was able to send and recieve messages in the past. Please help. Thank you! Melissa |

However, the error message does not suggest that this is the problem. I don't see an obvious reason for the failure, other than it acts like interference from an antivirus. Try deleting the account, then recreate it from scratch.
