| Guest | Mail Issues I logged onto my PC two days ago and recieved a message that Windows Mail had failed. I continued with the logon and discovered I have a Recovery file, but there is no data in the recovered file (past emails recieved). I performed a Recovery on my PC but the old emails are still gone. This is the third time this problem has happened to me using Windows Mail. Any suggestions? |

It supports Pop3, IMAP, HTTP website (EX: Hotmail) email, and is a lot more stable. Plus, WLM has a separate Inbox for each account. WLM will automatically import Windows Mail messages, accounts, and settings into it. Contacts will have to be manually imported. (Tools, Contacts, File, Import, Address book for current Windows User.) For US and UK: http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas For non-US and non-UK locations (direct download): http://g.live.com/1rebeta/WLM_en-us If you wish to repair Windows Mail again, then do the "To Reset Windows Mail' section at this tutorial. It will get rid of the recovery files issue. Windows Mail problems Shawn |
