Two questions

Hiya everyone

I've got 2 questions if someone can help me with them please?

The first question is about Hotmail. When I was using Outlook Express on my
old machine I had no problems downloading and replying to Hotmail messages.
Now that I've got a new machine it came with Vista and Windows Mail and I
can't get it to download my Hotmail email any more so I have to log in to
the Hotmail site every day to see if I've got any new messages. Someone in
one of the groups I'm with said I had to upgrade my account from free (which
I was happy with) to a pay monthly account which means that I've now got 10
GB which I really don't need or want especially as I still can't download my
email into Windows Mail! I've tried everything and hubby (who is usually my
tech support for computer things) has tried everything he knows and neither
of us can work out what to do as it keeps coming up with a message saying it
doesn't support places like Hotmail... does anyone know how to get it to
download into Windows Mail pretty please?

The second question is whenever I reply to an email and then close it down
it would have gone into my drafts folder in Outlook Express (which is what I
was using on XP before I bought a new computer) but when I do that in
Windows Mail both the email that I'm replying to and my reply to the email
get deleted.

I'm a total novice when it comes to computers and I'm still finding my way
around Vista slowly but surely but these 2 things have me stumped! Can
someone help this newbie out please?

Thank you!

Re: Two questions

Incidentally, there is no need to pay for an upgraded Hotmail
account if all you want is access to Hotmail messages and contacts.
Windows Live Mail will do all that for free.
