WM won't open pps file

Power Point slide show attachment won't open in Windows Mail. I get an error
message that there's no association, but I have the Power Point viewer
isntalled. When I save the attachment to the desktop, it opens and plays
fine. Anybody know why it won't open directly from the e-mail program?

thanx,
Ron

Try this fix:

Unable to open .PPS attachments directly from Windows Mail in Windows Vista

Re: WM won't open pps file

Thank you, your tip fixed it here too.

Can't MS fix what appears to be the REAL problem? Power Point Viewer?

Re: WM won't open pps file

Strangely it will open .xls Excel attachments with no fiddling around.
(Except to download the Viewer).
