Vista - how transfer hotmail / windows live contacts to windows mail

I started with hotmail made the switch to windows live n.p. , did the
upgrade to Vista Ultimate from XP. i would still like to use the hotmail if i
can! if not i need to import my addresses ; but what format do i use v.card
or ?? exactly where do i find my contacts ? do i transfer one by one or by
batch?
Does the new Windows mail support "quick"names for auto complete?

You would do better to upgrade Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail.
It will automatically import your contacts from Hotmail.

ok i am going to try the transfer to live mail ,but , same question if i want

Windows Live Mail will automatically import your accounts, settings,
custom folders, and saved emails. You may have to tell it to import
your contacts, but that is easily done.

If it turns out you don't like Windows Live Mail, just uninstall, and
Windows Mail will be back.
