Cannot access Exchange 2000 from Outlook 2007 in windows Vista

Hi,

We are using Exchange 2000 as our Mail server.
We can able to access our email accounts from Outlook 2007 running in
Windows XP machines..

But in Outlook 2007 running in Vista machines we can't able to
configure any email id.

While configuring the mail address, it asks the username and password.
After giving the user name and password it won' t accept it.

I read some articles called TCP Windows Scaling in Vista Site. even I
followed that procedures but it did not help me out.

Could you go into a little more detail on this? I'm running Outlook 2007
against an Exchange 2003 server and I don't recall getting a credentials
request in the process. Does this prompt occur before or after you click
the "Check Names" button?
