| | Can't recieve messages. When I refresh it receives 3 of 19 messages then stops dead. I got this error message after some time: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Account: 'pop-server.kc.rr.com', Server: 'pop-server.kc.rr.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F Does this have to do with my anti-spam software or something else? |

Yes, it is most likely caused by a antivirus or anti-spam program. They need to have all email scanning options turned off. You might check for stuck messages in the Inbox folder to. Read the "First" section in this tutorial for more on antivirus programs, and you should install the KB941090 Update in the "Second" section if you do have a stuck message. | | Re: Can't recieve messages. This may be caused by your third party security software. But first, check the possibility that there is a corrupt or overly large message on the server. Use your ISP's webmail access to find and delete the problem message.
