Re: email

When I am on a website and hit contact us an email window opens. When I hit
send it appears to be sent but it is never sent to the receipient.

Re: email

The email window that opens up, is that Windows Mail?
If so, go into Windows Mail and verify that your email account
is set up properly. What happens when you send an email to yourself?

Re: email

Yes. It appears to be windows mail. If I go to a website, say Home depot and
hit the contact us icon a email window opens. When I send the email it does
not go through. However my regular email function is fine in windows mail.

Re: email

You say "it does not go through." Is there a copy of the message in the
"Sent Items" folder? Is there an error message?
Which antivirus are you using?

Hi Bocaguy,

Double check these settings in Windows Mail main screen to see if they are being sent. If they are, they will show up in the "Sent Items" folder.

1. Click Tools - Options
2. Click Send tab
3. Check "Send messages immediately"
4. Check "Save a copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder"
5. Click OK

What is the name of the antivirus program that is installed on your computer?
