Backing up Windows Mail only

I would like to make a backup of the Windows Mail which could be used to
restore the messages, settings and address book in the event of catasrophic
system failure. What files would need to be copied to capture all the
needed information?

Hi Rich,

You can look at the "To Reset Windows Mail" section for how to backup this information. You can also copy everything in step 7 instead of deleting it, then back up the copy. When you need to restore everything, just replace everything from step 7 with the backup copy.

I would use the Export and Import options for the email since there will alway be additions. See step 1.

Hope this helps,
