Re: How do you STOP the compacting pop-up message in windows mail?

if i remember well go to the setting for windows mail, advanced or the one
completly on the right, there should be option for how many loads to run the
compacting select 0 i believe.

just so you know by doing this you risk coming back here later with a
corrupt mail database, i don't recommend you do this, but i can't force you
but i can't promise we can fix your corrupt database later, all the compact
does is makes everything run faster by removing deleted mail and stuff like
that.

Re: How do you STOP the compacting pop-up message in windows mail?

Perhaps our friend is sufficiently enamored of a built-in-America Japanese
auto to claim it as a nom de plume. Still, if such were the case, I feel
certain he would probably make a concerted effort to spell it correctly.

More likely, our "Hondo" is referencing the fairly famous John Wayne western
movie and/or character of the same name.

John Wayne played the lead, a taciturn gunslinger named "Hondo" who though
usually short on words was abundantly generous with the contents of almost
any available Colt six-shooter.

Of course, as has often happened before, I could be wrong...Ancient 1 ;-)
