| | Cannot recieve Emails I have been trying to use Windows Mail for 4 months with no luck. I use Netzero ans at first I could not send, they helped me correct that problem and now I cannot recieve. When I open my inbox I get the error message: -- The host 'POP3' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'Windows Mail', Server: 'POP3', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number:0x800CCC0D Netzero gave me instructions to solve this problem, but no luck. Help! JimW 0x800CCC0D = CANT_FIND_HOST = Cannot locate server. You do not have the correct server name for POP3. You need to change it from "POP3" to "pop.netzero.com" (no quotes) Look at Netzero support webpage for how to set the settings. See step 10. Windows Mail uses the same settings as Outlook Express. NetZero Support - Email Setup - Microsoft Outlook Express 6.x- Free Dial Up Internet Service - High Speed ISP - Net Zero Internet Provider - Netzero.com Regards, Shawn |
