| Guest | I cannot get Windows mail to accept my password I get this message Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR popgate unknown command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18 I removed and added the account many times. What do I need to do. |

| Guest | Re: I cannot get Windows mail to accept my password "Unknown command" means your mail account settings caused a command to be sent that the server does not understand. Most likely, this would be the "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" setting, which should not be enabled. Go to Tools, Accounts, select the Yahoo account, Properties, Servers, uncheck the appropriate box.
