| | How do I uninstall Windows Mail? For the past week I have been getting errors upon bootup involving Windows Mail and Contacts. I installed Windows Live Mail as some recommended on here, but it doesn't seem to uninstall Windows Mail in the process and I'm still getting the error messages. How do I get rid of it? Thanks |

| | Re: How do I uninstall Windows Mail? All the accounts have been removed. The problem is that Windows Live Mail seems to have removed certain key files for the contacts and two of the .DLL files. Windows Mail loads at bootup whether its being used or not. Without those missing or corrupt files it will continue to give the 4 error messages. Isn't there some way I can find the executable and delete it? "Dave" wrote: Quote: > You can't uninstall Windows Mail. You might take a look at your Startup programs list and see if Windows Mail or Contacts is listed. If so, remove them. Method one in this tutorial will show you how to do it.
