Vista - can't delete or junk spam e-mails

I have recently received three e-mails that I could not delete or send to
junk e-mail. When I clicked on "delete," the little moving "wait" circle
appeared, and the computer seemed to be doing something in the background.
When I tried to close Windows Mail, it told me that it was hung. Has anyone
else experienced this?

I tried to ask Norton, and they wanted $100 to diagnose the problem.
Microsoft wanted $59, but why should I have to pay for them to diagnose
something that is a security issue with their product?

Hi Charlie,

You will need to uninstall Norton and may need to delete your email account. Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.

See Vista Winmail Hotfix KB941090. I found this and MS didn't know about it.
