User name and password by e-mailing

I tryed create an e-mail account. I am not sure, if I managed to do it. When
I open windows mail, I am beeb asked for user name. I write my real name
Tytti Heikkilä and the password which I use when I open the PC. It was not
right. Then I write my name without a-dots. --> not right. Then I wrote my
e-mail address and the password which I use, when I open the e-mail in
internet. --> no right. Could you please help me? What is which user name I
should use and which password of my hundreads passwords?

Hi Tytti,

You will need to use the Username and Password for the email account from your email provider. The email provider is usually your Internet Service Provider (ISP). If you do not remember it, then you will need to contact you email provider for help on getting a new username and password.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: User name and password by e-mailing

Your email password has no relationship to your Windows password.
Do you have an existing email address that you want to use in
Windows Mail? If so, what is the part after the @ symbol?
If not, your Internet service provider (ISP) should provide you
with an email address. You are connecting from HTV.fi, is that
your ISP? I don't read Finnish, but Googling for HTV.fi brought up
Welho.fi, so those two seem to be related, and it also agrees with
the return address you used (below). So, clue us in as to which
email service provider you are trying to use.
