| | Transferring web mail to Windows Mail Hi..I use Window Mail (vista), and have a web mail account thru Verizon/Yahoo. My mail is being held in both accounts. When I had XP, it would all be automatically transferred to Outlook when I opened Outlook. Now I have to go to my web mail and delete everything, as I have copies of all of it in Windows Mail. Is there a way to adjust this? thanks, Kiwi |

| | Re: Transferring web mail to Windows Mail If you are accessing POP mail, and it is being downloaded to Windows Mail, then you can configure it to delete the mail on the server. Tools- Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced uncheck "Leave a copy of messages on server" - or - check "Remove from server after xx days" This will let WM download your email, and delete it on the server either immediately, or after xx days.
