Outbox will not empty when I click on Send/Receive

    Outbox will not empty when I click on Send/Receive

    I have Windows Vista and my Outlook Express was working fine untl the 6th.
    Now, my e-mails are going into the outbox and not being sent to the
    receipent. I've never something like this before. I went onto the Microsoft
    website and updated everything I could. I don't have any special virus
    protection on this computer other than whatever comes with Vista. What are
    my options at this point?

    Hi James,

    You may have a stuck message in your Outbox. Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus programs to help prevent this from happening again and for a list of some free antivirus programs, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.

    Windows Mail problems

    If this is not the problem, then post a copy of any error messages you are receiving. This will help us help you better.
