| | adding image signature I am trying to add an image signature to emails. I've loaded the gif file to the server and then in notepad I created a file with the HTML on it, I was not able to save the file as a HTML file as that option did not show, only as 'All files'. I then gave the filepath to the HTML notepad file which has on it the image path in Edit signature, then I clicked on file. Tried it out but it does not work. Can anyone say what I am doing wrong? Please be clear as some people only give snippets of info. not the whole picture. |

See the link above. To save a Notepad file as a .html file: 1. In Notepad, click File, and click Save As 2. Change the "Save as Type" to "All Files" instead of "Text Documents (*.txt)". 3. Type in a name for the file with the .html file extension. EX: "name.html" (no quotes). 4. Click Save. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| | RE: adding image signature try creating a signature file in html in any software such as microsoft frontpage or publisher and save it. point to this file in mail signature options and it should work. however there is a size restriction to this. it may get truncated. better option to us is outlook 2007 which allows you to create a signture with images and gif/jpg picture "Quartzy" wrote: Quote: > I am trying to add an image signature to emails.
