Watched Threads

How do I know if a thread is being watched?? The left
pain (newsgroups) don't indicate with being red like in XP,
only the thread itself.

It does show red in the left pane for me if there are any
unread messages in the watched thread.

Not in my case. Does it show red in the left pane
when there has been an unread response to the initial
post?

It is not very dependable, but the newsgroup should turn red if there is an
unread watched message.
