Since installing Vista, the e-mails I post and link to on my web pages for
public replies do not work. I am using Vista Mail and Dreamweaver. No
problems with previous versions. Any ideas? Thanks. TJ Behr

When you say "e-mails" do you mean email addresses?
This is either a web hosting problem (invalid link), or else the person
clicking on the link does not have their email program properly setup.
So are you the only person for whom clicking on the link does not
work, or do all other users of that web page have the same problem?

I got a new computer and when I try sending email, it asks for my ISP or
POP what is that and how do I get an email address to use? I already have a
yahoo email, do I use that?

Sorry I wasn't clearer. I am putting e-mail links on my web page, so that
certain individuals in this particular group can be reached via e-mail.
When I try it out in the browser (any browser), the link says "Could not
perform this operation because default mail is not properly installed." The
problem is at my end, and is obviously because I don't understand Vista Mail
procedures (or Vista anythng else for that matter). Hope this clears up the
problem. Is there a solution. Thanks again.

You didn't say so, but I presume that the MailTo links work
properly when tried from other computers.
To fix the MailTo behavior on your computer, try this fix:
Windows Mail Default Associations

You are connecting through Verizon DSL. Don't you want to use your
Verizon.net email address?
If not, and you intend to use Yahoo webmail only, there is a
procedure to have it set as the default:
