| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Backing up email folders You can "Export" a copy of your email folders to new folder and then save them to the external hard disk. When you want them back, you can just "Import" them back into Windows Mail. This tutorial will show you how. There is no need to manually do it. Windows Mail - Messages Shawn |

I want to leave them where they are, but to have a back-up copy on my external hard disk. Will this be the case if I export them? | Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Backing up email folders As Winston has stated, it will not remove them from Windows mail. It will just Export a copy so you can backup them anywhere you want so you can Import them back to Windows Mail if you need or want to. Shawn |
