Vista - How do you resize a picture

I'm new to Vista. I had XP and had no problem reducing the pictures to
attach to an email. Maybe I was doing it wrong but I would just click the
stretch and skew button, then save the smaller picture to send. So I had a
small and larger of the same picture. Anyway it worked for me. I've only
found one way to send an attachement in Vista and it's from the Windows Photo
Gallery window. And it will only send one picture and it's displayed. I
want to send multiple pics as attachments.
