Multiple Displays with PC and television

I have my laptop PC connected to my television with a s-video cable. It is
currently set to have to same display on each monitor. I would like to be
able to view video files through windows media player and have them displayed
on the television monitor while I simultaneously use my computer to do other
things. Is this possible?

Re: Multiple Displays with PC and television

You need dual view monitor support, where you can drag the wmp window onto
the tele and watch it whilst using the pc monitor for pc stuff.
Check the graphics card options. For viewing videos you may need to turn off
acceleration as well.
