Vista - Movie maker wont import videos ... help !

I hope you can help me with this...

I run Vitsa home basic and everytime i try to import a video from my file
section to movie maker it closes itself and restarts. It wont import the
video at all and always restarts after i try to import videos. Can anyone
help as i have a few videos i would like to edit using movie maker.

If you continue to have issues with Movie
Maker 6...it may be worth a try to install
Movie Maker 2.6:

Windows Movie Maker 2.6 for Vista

Go to Control Panel (Classic view) > Problem Reports and Solutions > "View
problem history" link > right click on the problem and select "View problem
