I just uploaded pictures from my camera. Everytime I click on a pictures file
to open, then click on a picture to look at it, it says it is corrupted. But
when I look at other pictures I have downloaded it will openthem, but the
color and the picture is all messed up looking. This is a brand new computer
surely it isn't messing up now???

Did you use Photo Gallery to download the pictures? Unfortunately it has a
bad habit of corrupting data from some cameras. What kind of camera is it?
Vista also has problems generally with transferring data via some USB
connections, especially over networks. I lost a few of my photos by Vista
corrupting them.
