| | Movie Maker Playback Issues I spend time putting together pictures, movie clips, sounds, titles etc, all in perfect timing, but often, when i try to preview the movie or timeline, there simply is no response from the program. This problem also occurs when I have restarted the program. It makes it impossible to preview the work created, and therefore makes it hard to use it. Would someone be able to offer any kind of help or solution? It would be highly appreciated, I must finish a lengthy movie of a wedding's photos and videos asap. Thank you very much. |

| | Re: Movie Maker Playback Issues Thank you Graham for your response. However, it does not seem to be a file type issue, as i had already converted my files to compatible types, and the problem also occurs with normal pictures. The playback does work, but only when it is in a good mood... I have tried to look for similar issues by other users, and found nothing like it. By the way, I work with Windows Vista Home Premium. | | Re: Movie Maker Playback Issues What do you clasify as normal pictures? I have problems with jpegs, but many people don't, so I always use bitmap forms of stills, like tiff, which rarely give problems. How did you convert your incompatible files, what are tehy now, it could be the converter wasn't any good and the files are slightly corrupted? List out all the file types you have in your movie, where they came from and what you used to convert them. What are the pc specs? Is the pc a vista bought pc or one you upgraded to vista? -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.com "Nic Pirlot" <NicPirlot@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:F332E7F8-73B1-4D92-8C2B-0F41DF074091@xxxxxx Quote: > Thank you Graham for your response. | | RE: Movie Maker Playback Issues Many machines will not preview your storyline if you have added transitions. If you have added transitions, remove all transitions and title/End clips and try again. Windows has been very mum on the subject.
