| | Re: Windows Media Player 11 skips near the end of a song i clicked speakers in the playback window, then pressed the properties button. then a new window opened with three tabs. general. levels. and advanced. i can't see any enhancement tab? advanced has default format 16 bit 44100hz etc, and something called exclusive mode. and general has jack info, properties for sigmatel and device usage. going into the properties of sigmatel only has three tabs also general driver details ???????????????? | | Re: Windows Media Player 11 skips near the end of a song You are probably using the default Vista installation DVD Sigma Tel audio drivers. You need to go to your computer manufacturer, motherboard manufacturer, or Sigma Tel and download and install the latest Vista drivers for your Sigma Tel audio adapter then you will have the Enhancements tab. | | Re: Windows Media Player 11 skips near the end of a song This fixed my problem with WWP 11 on my Gateway. I had the same problem. I thought it was due to me using an external hardrive with my music re-copied on it. Thanks guys!!!! Microsoft should put this workaround in it's Knowledge base for WWP.
