Windows Media Player Multi-Disc Support

I have some music CD's that are comprised of several CDs, and each have an
ID-3 tag saying which disc they belong to, yet in WMP11, they are all put
into the same CD, and all the track 1's are beside each other, 2's are all
beside each other, etc. Is there any way to make WMP collect them into their
separate discs?

If you are talking about standard audio CDs, then all you need to do is specify an appropriate album name for each CD, and then sort by album.

Since you mentioned ID3 Tags, I'm guessing you have MP3 Music CDs, correct? In that case you'll need to copy the MP3 files to your hard drive, edit the tags (Concentrating on the "Title", "Lead Artist", "Album", "Track" and "Album Artist" tags), and re-burn the CDs.

This is the only way, as you can't edit files that are on a CD, and your discs where created before the ID3 Tags where properly enterd into the MP3 Files.

Update the album title to include the "[Disc 2]" suffix as appropriate. WMP
doesn't use the "Set" tag.
