| | Error c00d11d2 when attempting to play a file Hello, I am using windows vista and when attempting to play any audio file on Windows Media Player I get this error "c00d11d2". The file is saved on my hard drive, not through a network. I also cannot play any type of audio file through other programs such as itunes. But the sound does work for functions like youtube, or other normal functions like the power up and power down sounds. what is the problem? |

| | Re: Error c00d11d2 when attempting to play a file I had the same problem with Windows Media Player (audio and video would not play). I checked the "Disable all enhancements" in the Properties of Speakers in Control Panel (Classic view) > Sound > Playback, and the problem went away. Very luckily, yesterday Creative released new drivers for the X-Fi which eliminated the problem of having to disable enhancements. You could also try reinstalling your sound device drivers.
