Re: Orbicam stopped working

there ARE Vista drivers for Acer Orbicam. What is the exact model
NAME? 5100 is common to a few different models.

RE: Orbicam stopped working

I contacted Acer. The solution is to remove all files or sub-folders fromthe
Pictures folder. OrbiCam then works fine! Genie56

RE: Orbicam stopped working

Genie56,
I have this same problem that Barb Bowman wrote about on an Acer Aspire
5610Z Orbicam. When you say remove all files or sub-folders from the Pictures
folder, do you mean the "My Pictures" folder on my desktop? If so, where
would I store all of my photos? Or is there another pictures folder I need to
delete from? Thank you very much, Acer gave me no help when I tried them!

RE: Orbicam stopped working

This solution did not work for me, now a little box that only has an X in the
corner comes up saying this when I open the app:

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: Acer OrbiCam.exe
Application Version: 1.0.0.13
Application Timestamp: 4599d570
Fault Module Name: MFC42.DLL
Fault Module Version: 6.6.8063.0

Exception Offset: 00059f92
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3

The orbicam itself works because I use it with msn messenger no problem.
Before I had the same problem that this thread was started about, but now
that I removed everything form pictures it does this, plz help.
