Hi I'm new to Vista, and need help on how to delete picture tags in photo
gallery.
The tags in question are from the drop down menu box to the right of the
photo after info has been selected. The tags do not apply to the photo but
when you click on the down arrow two options appear on the drop down menu. I
cannot delete them from there, and they do not appear on the left hand side
beside the other tags or comments. They appear for any photo selected in the
gallery and will not delete.
Can anybody help me please.

Right-click on the image and go to Properties, then to details. Under there
should be a tag field where you can remove any tags.

Depending on how you've got explorer set you might also be able to edit the
tabs just by clicking on them in say the Pictures folder. Once an image is
selected look down the bottom to the light blue bar, you may also have a
Tags field shown there which will allow you to more quickly make changes.

Hi Paul. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, this hasn't helped me. When I
go into properties and details, the tag folder is empty. Then if I go down to
the bottom tag line it is also empty. The only place I can see the tags is
when I double click on the "add tag" to the right of the picture and the two
tags pop up on every and any picture.

My guess would be that you need to nuke your Pictures.pd4.
