Vista - Photo Gallery-file corruption

Is microsoft going to fix the problem with Photo Gallery's corruption of
some .jpg files I have about 200 files that were corrupted when I moved
them to my new Vista PC. They are still fine on my old XP PC but until
this is corrected I have to keep both PC's connected.

try copying them from within vista, not from xp, moving them from within xp
made me lose some thousands (fortunately they were redownloadable)

would expect to have the only viewer in Vista to work right. This
problem may be a costly one to some.

My question still is "will Microsoft fix this?"
