Vista - Installing 7.5 Itunes quicktime for IPOD

I hope someone can help...everytime I try to install this program for Vista I
get the following error message

"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package.
This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2738."

I get the same error if I go tp programs and click repair or uninstall.

Please help so my daughter can use her IPOD and get misic from ITunes!

This is a common problem...
1. On the Start menu, click "All Programs".
2. Click "Accessories".
3. Right-click "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator" from
the shortcut menu.
4. When the User Account Control dialog appears, click Continue.
5. At the command prompt type the following:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
6. Press Enter on your keyboard.
7. A message should appear stating "DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll
succeeded."
8. Click OK and try installing iTunes or QuickTime again.
