| | Give option to REMOVE URGE This is so frustrating. I love Windows and support it but you all are really making it hard to back you up when you're shoving music sales in users faces even though they paid hundreds of dollars for an operating system. There NEEDS to be a way to remove URGE and that hideous button from WMP11. Search "deleting URGE" and other similar entries on the web and you will find tons of people begging for this option to be disabled. Everyone from parents, to businesses, to every day users. So many people are going back to WMP10 because of this. Honestly, this "feature" is a slap in the face to your customers. Please make a way to remove this ASAP! ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. | | Re: Give option to REMOVE URGE Thanks, it's great to know that URGE is no longer part of WMP11. However, I still do see the "tab" (is that the button?) for URGE. I look for it in the uninstall list but I don't see it (maybe I already did). I have read about many other people uninstalling it and the button still being there. Please suggest this to Microsoft and vote or tell me a way to remove it please ![]() "Kerry Brown" wrote: Quote: > http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...ayer/urge.aspx > > -- > Kerry Brown > Microsoft MVP - Shell/User > http://www.vistahelp.ca > > > "Techy" <Techy@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:17C89044-04DD-438D-BA3B-AE3A15D390EF@xxxxxx Quote: > > This is so frustrating. WMP10 has this too, it just says something other than Urge there - Napster or Media Guide, I think... ? -- Speaking for myself only. See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. | | Re: Give option to REMOVE URGE That only loads if you move into that area of the library. Just switch to any other node of the library and you should be good. You can go to "Browse All Online Stores" and select some other button type. =\ The feedback has been passed along. =) -- Speaking for myself only.
