Apart from getting frustrated with this vista stuff i started using the movie
maker to make a short movie withy some photos i have. after several hours of
getting it done i went to preview it altogether...pressing play button to no
avail....can't get it to work? then i thought i will publish it to a dvd...It
closed and opened up another box and looked like it was going to do it when
another box opened up to tell me the project i had just made was not a
supported file and could not be imported....Then it asks me to press a button
that says "OK" ....leaving me saying no its not okay! What i cant understand
is that it a project that i made in windows movie maker and when finished i
can not look or publish it? Annoyed? oh yea! Any ideas....please!!!

I am having the same issue! I have searched and searched for an answer and I
am not finding much help. I too created a project and I am not able to
preview it. I did burn it to a dvd and at first I received the same response
that it was not a supported file but when I opened the saved file myself in
dvd creator it worked! ?? I'm happy I was able to get it to burn however it
would be nice to be able to preview and edit it! So fustrated! If you figure
it please let me know!

did you publish it to the computer first? cuz then it makes the project into
a WMM file
