You actually *can* do this, it's just a pain:
If the active focus is set to the pertinent playlist, pressing spacebar will
then play/pause.
David added that for y'all based upon my request to him. Why doesn't it
always do that? Because the spacebar is a UI activation event in Windows,
and doing that would wreak havoc with accessibility, so it's just a
non-starter as an idea, sorry.
