hi,

i have a piece of music that i want to save in the .wav format. i have nero
software installed and when i save all my music (.wav) files they are saved
with the extension
- "NeroMediaPlayer media files" (filetype) and NOT .wav files. is there any
way i can change the saving or exporting to different file format functions
to save these .wav files as .wav files and not Nero media files?

when using the nero media files in a music player an error comes up
indicating
file format unknown!

Nero has a dozen different sub-programs.
Are you using the Convert Audio Files (Encode Files)?
If so, add the file you wish to convert, and in the Output file format box,
select
PCM Wav File (*.wav, *.wave)
It will save in a .wav format

Or do you have file extensions hidden?
in Windows Explorer..
Organize - Folder & Search Options - View
uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
OK
