Can you brighten .mpg video using Windows Movie Maker?

    Can you brighten .mpg video using Windows Movie Maker?

    I have a .mpg video file that is really dark and I need to lighten/brighten
    it up. Can I use Windows Movie Maker to do this?

    You may have to convert the .mpg to .wmv before
    importing but yes...Movie Maker has effects that
    can increase or decrease brightness.
