| | Transitions problem in videos from camera When I had a problem with transitions I turned to this site and found others are having other, apparently unresolved, problems also. I will describe my situation and what I have so far discovered in the hope that somebody at Microsoft will look at the issue and investigate it. I am using Ultimate, on a computer whose experience rating is 4.3. The version of WMM is 6.0 (Build 6000) I use WMM to edit files from two primary sources. One source is MPG files from BeyondTV. I have found no problems here; transitions work as expected. However, when editing MPG files from a Canon DC220 video camera, transitions are not published to "This Computer". Interestingly they do appear, in WMM, if the button on the timeline is dragged through the transition area, but they do not appear if the complete movie is viewed at normal speed. Thanks for any comments or suggestions. |

| | RE: Transitions problem in videos from camera (in reply to own message) If anybody finds this problem (which appears to be a bug in WMM) the workaround I have found is to Publish To > This Computer. Then edit and apply transitions to the resulting WMV.
