How to make WMP 11 and Windows Media Encoder 9 (x64) open HDV m2t files in
Windows Vista x64 Ultimate? A Sony Picture Motion browser plays HDV m2t files
in Windows Vista x64 Ultimate. WMP 11 and Windows Media Encoder 9 (x86) open
HDV m2t files in Windows XP Pro SP2. What codec should I install?

The Sony Picture Motion browser plays the m2t natively but unfortunately
there is no codec available to play them straight in WMP. You can try
downloading 'VoltaicHD ' (http://shedworx.com/?q=voltaichdpc) which
will allow you to convert the movies and then use them in Movie Maker
or WMP.

The additional convertion takes additional time and HD space.
Why does WMP 11 and Windows Media Encoder 9 (x86) open HDV m2t files and
Sony Picture Motion don't playback HDV m2t files in my Windows XP SP2 MCE?
