movie maker story board

when I drag a movie clip from the content pane to the story board I get a big
red X in the square & can't make a movie. help please.

This means that WMM can't find the source file of your clip. Right click on
the red X and choose "Browse for Missing File". Then you can reestablish
the connection between WMM and your source file.
