duplicated tracks

Media centre has started to display cd tracks twice and also plays each track
twice when I play an album.

Re: duplicated tracks

Where are they located? Are they located on the internal hard drive? Does
the file path for both tracks match?

Re: duplicated tracks

Thank you.
The path is c:users/public/publicmusic/music . Prompted by your reply I
searched and found a duplicate of the file in doctemp. I deleted this and
also deleted the aforementioned location in users/public. I then downloaded
afresh the file to users/public. This seemed to cure the problem but now the
artwork had mostly vanished. I then downloaded the artwork from the internet
and rebooted. The duplication persists.

I do have a second file of the music for my daughters ipod in location
c:doctemp/music/itunes . To stop this file interfering I stopped watching
folders in c:. there is no option in Library Setup to stop watching c:doctemp.
