| | Getting Media Center to scan for available channels I am having a 'problem' with Media Center with Vista Home Premium. I have a laptop with a TV Tuner which works fine with the supplied QuickPlay software (HP laptop with included HP PC Express TV Tuner card). Now, I am a truck driver who uses my laptop as a TV while on the road, therefore I do not usually have access to the Internet while I am trying to watch TV, now Media Center will not, as far as I can tell, scan for available channels, either analog or digital, without being able to download the available channels for my area. Am I missing something? Why can I not just have it scan for what is available and go from there? |
