I have a new laptop and am experiencing Vista for the first time. I use
webshots.com to download photos for my background and screensaver. I am able
to access their website and even downloaded the photo manager program.
However, when I try to login or download any photos, it does not recognize
anything and keeps trying to get me to login. Webshots states that the
problem is with Vista and I am inclined to agree as I have it on a desktop
here at home also and have no issues using Windows. I have tried adding the
site to allowable sites in the internet section and have even turned off the
firewall in case that was the issue. It still does not work. Any suggestions?

Right-click on the IE shortcut icon and select the Start without add-ons
option. You can then manage which add-ons are enabled, in Tools | Manage
Add-ons, after you've started IE7.

I am accessing the site from AOL. However, I did as you suggested and the
site is already listed as enabled. It still does not work. When I access
webshots from IE, the pictures don't load, so that is why I was using AOL.
Any other suggestions?
