Re: Adobe flash player

By animated pictures do you mean GIFS or Flash/Shockwave files?

If you use the 32 bit version of Internet Explorer of another 32 bit browser such as Mozilla it will work with Vista 64.

Re: Adobe flash player

1 > Adobe issue with IE7 and Vista x32 bit
Try doing reset on IE7 by going to internet option > advance > reset and restore defaults apply ok close and open ie then download the Adobe Flash Uninstaller from
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe once done run it make sure all the browser is closed and try installing the standalone Adobe Flash from
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe once done install Adobe Shockwave from
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/shockwave/default/english/win95nt/latest/Shockwave_Installer_Full.exe { make sure to download both first then close ie and then try installing by doing Right Click and Run As Admin } if it doesnt work go to tools > internet option > programs > manage addons > enable all the addons from publisher like Microsoft, Adobe and Sun restart ie it should work
2 > Another Problem with IE7 and Vista x64 bit
Issue: Adobe Flash Player is not supported for playback in a 64-bit browser.
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=6b3af6c9
However, you can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit operating system.
Fix/Workaround:
Right click IE short cut >> go to properties >> Change the target location for Internet explorer from " C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe " to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe".
Note : If doesnt work follow the step 1
