I'm trying to burn a CD using Windows Media Player on our Vista latop. It
gets to the end, or near the end, and then stops saying there were errors.
I tried cutting back the number of songs (to 45min worth)... still the same
problem.
The laptop came with Rhapsody so I installed that and tried... same problem,
though this time it didn't bomb until all the songs were burned. The CDs
aren't getting closed, so once things bomb, I can't see what's on the CD and
its useless.
I burned the same type CD from my XP laptop using MusicMatch and it worked
perfectly.
What's up with Vista and MediaPlayer.... or Rhapsody for that matter...
I'm thinking the issue is more with Vista than either of the products....
the songs are from a bought-then-ripped CD.
Is there anything I'm missing, or not doing? Does anyone know what this
would happen? This is suddenly useless to me, as were planning on storing
all our CDs on this new laptop.
