It might be a good idea to identify the type of display and video card you
use.
Does the windows screen fill the display?

confused with brightness control; if pressed it doubles resolution, it is
for viewing high res photos but will have the effect of making everything
else appear smaller

I've upped the DPI so that the icons on the deskset are now visible, but internet pages are not fixable. Someone in intel or microsoft needs to fix this problem (and someone should have tested that software more rigorously before releasing it...)
possibly by clicking on the window/full screen button or hitting F11 2 times will fix the IE screen.

I hit F11 twice, and while it hid the bar at the top, it really didn't do
anything to the font size on some pages on the internet. The font is now
extremely difficult to see, almost straining my eyes. I do hope there is a
fix for this. FYI, there is another thread going on concerning this same
problem...you may want to check out the messages on the thread "Intel G33/G31
Express Chipset Family Upgrade."

When using IE you can change the text size using the View Menu/Text size.

you can add a font size button to the tool bar.
also in IE options believe there is an option to override site text size.

in response to message from curious, I've been to the view menu / text size,
changed the text size to largest...on some internet pages it works, on
others, it does not. Actually, on many pages it does not work
in response to message from mikeyhsd, I can't find that font size button you
refer to
