    Squelched swear words?

I'm using fully patched version of Windows Media Player 11 on 64 bit Vista
Home Premium, and I find that it adds a squelch sound when a song being
    played contains an F-word.

Is there any way in which to remove the censorship... it is inaffective
anyway since you can still hear the word, and the jolting squelch simply
    draws attention to it?

I'm against imposed cenorship as a general concept and will use a different
product if there isn't a work around.

I am unaware of any such feature in Windows Media Player. What media is the
song on? CD, an MP3 Player or what?

Just playing standard .wav files directly off of a retail music cd. In
particular, Modest Mouse's song "3rd Planet" off of the album "the moon &
    antartica."

There is a line about "f-ing people over" in which an annoying squelch is
added. I played the cd elsewhere and on my pc using a different player and
    squelch doesn't exist.
