| Guest | Adobe Premiere Pro On some of the previous editions of VISTA and pre-BETA 2, I was able to get both Premiere PRO and Premiere Elements to work. With the latest version, both fail to initialize because of entry point problems. In checking with Adobe last week, I was nnot able to find any reference to these issues. Has anyone else experienced the same or similar problems? -- Perambulating Photographer & Sailer |

| Guest | Re: Adobe Premiere Pro Don't know about Elements as I have lost my downloaded program and Vista won't let me download another from Adobe - something to do with secure html sites or something!!! Certainly Premier Elements won't run though - it seems to install ok but dies at start-up. | Guest | Re: Adobe Premiere Pro Hi Brian and Roger: With RC1 I have been able to get Adobe Premiere Pro to work correctly by deleting all Adobe files and reinstalling and re-registering Premiere. (I don't think the latter was necessary I just did it!) There was another change that I made that may also have had an impact: I changed the graphics card to a NVIDIA 6200 with 4 times the memory of my old ATI card. The old card did not have enough memory to run VISTA's movie maker but earlier editions had allowed me to run the Adobe programs. -- Perambulating Photographer & Sailer "Colin Grant" wrote: > Don't know about Elements as I have lost my downloaded program and Vista > won't let me download another from Adobe - something to do with secure html > sites or something!!! | Guest | Re: Adobe Premiere Pro Hi: With RC1 I have been able to get Premiere Pro to work correctly. With the penultimate build of VISTA I was not able to get the edit window to display or sound to function correctly. ALl of those problems have gone away. In fact it seems to work faster under VISTA than XP Pro, especially when goinmg across the network for files. -- Perambulating Photographer & Sailer "Colin Grant" wrote: > Don't know about Elements as I have lost my downloaded program and Vista > won't let me download another from Adobe - something to do with secure html > sites or something!!!
